OpenShot Video Editor is a free and open-source video editor for Linux, Mac, and Windows licensed under the GPL version 3.0. OpenShot can take your videos, photos, and music files and help you create the film you have always dreamed of. Easily add sub-titles, transitions, and effects, and then export your film to DVD, YouTube, Vimeo, Xbox, PlayStation, and many other common formats.

What's new in version 2.6.1
  • Auto migration of Crop keyframes from 2.5.1 projects (adds a crop effect and sets the equivellent keyframes). 100% backwards compatibility.
  • Title Editor: TAB between fields
  • Fix Windows drive letter regression, where saving projects on a different drive than the assets would cause corruption. 2.6.1 will also repairs any corruption detected in *.osp project files.
